I am a seasoned attorney with nearly a decade of legal expertise, providing sophisticated solutions across a diverse array of practice areas. As the Principal of Spencer Golden Law since 2019, I have cultivated a robust practice focused on civil litigation, encompassing construction disputes, landlord/tenant issues, business transactions, negotiable instrument drafting, wills and trusts, premises liability, insurance defense, healthcare, contract drafting, real property transactions, tax controversy, tax planning, bankruptcy, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), administrative law, mediation, and trial work. Licensed in Florida, New York, Washington D.C., and California, I offer a multi-jurisdictional approach, reinforced by admissions to the United States Tax Court, multiple U.S. District Courts in Florida, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
My academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida, a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law in 2015, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law in 2017. This foundation underpins my success at Spencer Golden Law, where I serve as general counsel for multiple mid-sized businesses, including pharmacy chains in California and venture capital firms in Florida. My work with these clients has been particularly impactful, as I’ve facilitated sales and deals over the past two years totaling nearly $100 million. From negotiating complex real property transactions for California pharmacies to structuring business deals for Florida venture capitalists, I bring a strategic, hands-on approach to every matter, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes.
I am also deeply committed to community service. Since 2017, I’ve volunteered monthly at the Centro Campesino First Time Homeowner’s Clinic, amassing over 500 pro bono hours and educating more than 1,000 low-income individuals on the tax benefits, rights, and responsibilities of homeownership while preparing their tax returns.
